Thank you for the comment! As for testing, it can be a bit tricky since you're not a bot. Google will look at things like mouse movement, scroll hesitation, your browser user-agent, IP address, etc, to determine that. Probably the best way is to see if you have a drop in spam. If you're really techy, you could set up a Python script and use Selenium to test the page, but honestly, if there's no errors in the console, and your spam is reduced, that's probably proof enough. I know it can be annoying though!
